Who This is For?
ICON Athlete is designed for a variety of athletes regardless of their fitness level. From those wanting to increase their fitness for daily activities outside the gym, to athletes that are looking to perform at the highest level of competition we provide education and direction. As the pursuit of fitness grows globally many athletes have the desire to train with purpose or compete, but lack direction or get lost in the sea of options online. We provide an interactive program with coaches and 4 Tracks of programming that each member will have access to in order to cater towards their needs; regardless of their current fitness level.
Who Are We Looking For?
We want hard working, motivated, ambitious, supportive members. Some programs can lead to an unproductive atmosphere. Concerns of what others are doing, an unwillingness to learn from outside athletes and programs, coupled with an overly competitive atmosphere can stifle progress in the long run. ICON Athlete should be viewed as a team of individuals working together to reach the highest levels of their human potential and goals.

Lifestyle: 1 hour Training sessions designed to increase your GPP. Warm Up, Workout, Goal Times, and Accessory work are all included. Dynamic: Training sessions include multiple pieces and depending on the time of year take roughly 90 min to complete. If you are looking to compete in CrossFit or have specific goals for the Open this track is for you. Hyper: The Hyper track provides multiple parts for each training session. Frequent strength, conditioning, gymnastics, and endurance pieces provide the most demanding track. Sessions last 90 min - 3 hours depending on the time of year, cycle of training, and level of athlete. Our Icon ambassadors pursuing the podium at the CrossFit Games or making their first trip there utilize the Hyper programming. Strength: For those looking to make gains in the strength departments. Workouts involve challenging loading and often provide different strength cycles depending on the time of year.

Chris Spealler is one of the few athletes to have competed in a total of 7 CrossFit Games. From the inception of the CrossFit Games in 2007 he has evolved with the sport and met the demands necessary to compete at the highest level year after year. He has been fortunate enough to work with some of the best coaches in the community. As an athlete that is anything but the ideal make up for CrossFit, Spealler knows what it takes to find your weaknesses and improve upon them. Since retiring from competition he is also incredibly passionate about using his fitness outside the confines of the gym. You can find him skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. Using his fitness to support an adventurous lifestyle has opened up a new chapter in life.

How It Works
Athletes or Gyms have access to all 4 Tracks of Programming. We provide goal times or rounds to achieve with each workout. Use these as a guide as to wether or not you should scale workouts in order to maintain intensity. We believe in intensity over volume. Mix and match programming tracks as desired by substituting one piece for another but we encourage you not to "double up". Programming is released in advance for the upcoming week so you can plan accordingly. You will receive daily messages through BTWB and Facebook to brief each training day. We encourage you to read through them and participate in the conversations with the community. There are no egos or negativity allowed. We want to support you regardless of where you are. From the Games athlete to those looking for more adventure out your backdoor we are here to help. The monthly fee is $45. It renews automatically and you can cancel any time.
