Sometimes the actual time is not that important. Today was one of these days. It was more about the journey and embracing the obstacles that had to be overcome in order to get there and appreciating that fact that you are able to complete certain tasks. Being able to complete a goal can be just as rewarding as setting a personal best. San Diego Half Marathon. And yes the hill up to the Hillcrest area SUCKED!

Surf City Half Marathon- was on good pace for first half, hit a wall in mile 10- last 4 miles were really hard. Mental roller coaster to run that far. Never ran further than 10k before this. Time was right about were I expected prior to the race.
