Thought I'd do a little something extra today. Paced this more than I needed to thinking I'd hit failure on HSPU but never did. Just need to keep improving on HSPU.

  • Subbed in 4 pull-ups + 4 push-ups for muscle ups then 8 45# push press for handstand push-ups. First time doing 2 pood kettlebell swings in a WOD! Felt good! Everything unbroken, just took long rests. I was afraid of dropping the weights on the concrete outside. Practice a lot for the muscle ups before hand but just couldn't get them. Arms were sore going in from extra work yesterday.

  • Tackling weaknesses. Found it hard to link MU on the steel rings. Mostly did singles. HSPU were my failing point. Pretty happy to finally do this Rx'D :D

  • Biggest game changer was widening hands on HSPUs and going strict. Unbroken on everything resting the most before the MUs. Using wood rings instead of my steel ones helped too. Just got gassed.
