PR!!!! I didn't get much sleep over the weekend so I feel good about this! Pull ups got a lot better and felt more solid....the 3rd run was very tiring but I pushed hard and did a lot of breathing through my kettlebell swings, those were unbroken! Great way to start the week!

  • PR!!!! Last time I did Helen it took me over 17 minutes and I used bands! I'm excited! My pull ups felt good, I was consistently able to start each round with a set of 3 and then a set of 2....after that it was either singles or a set of 2....the runs were tough but I felt sleepy...today was an exhausting day at work and I didn't sleep enough....but I did push as hard as I could on the runs. My first run was done in 2:07 and I don't know about my second run but my 3rd run was about 2:30 so I was pretty consistent on my runs....I feel good about this...kettlebell swings were unbroken all 3 rounds! Put this one in the books!!!

  • PR!!! I'll take it! Did this after strength class so legs were a bit tired....kettlebell swings and pullups felt good! I was able to get a 4 in a row this time around and I was getting 5 in a row during the warm up! Yay!!!

  • PR!!!! Finally sub 13:00 on Helen! So happy about this! Runs felt good and consistent....Running class is totally paying off! Runs felt good and I was able to keep the same pace all the way through...just gotta keep getting faster at the pull ups....those slowed me down...kettlebell swings were unbroken and steady...very happy with this!

  • Disappointed....first time doing this wod with butterfly pullups...kb swings were unbroken runs were bad....2:01/2:30/2:43....I just don't know what I'm going to do about my running! I'm just disappointed...couldn't breathe so I kept losing my rhythm on the pull ups went 6/4/2 for the first two rounds then on the last round went 4's....this is my least favorite wod....sooo aggravated!!! I need to get better at running, but I don't know what more I can do so I guess I just have to keep trusting the process and know that I'm getting better

  • I'm so confused! I don't know why I didn't PR! I felt like I was running faster and my pullups were faster....This is the first time where I was able to get my pullups done in 2 sets...all the other times it took 3 or more sets...first round was 9/3, 7/5 then 7/3/2...kb were all unbroken....so I don't understand where I went wrong...the only thing I could think of is that I did this after my snatch EMOM and then doing clean & jerks in oly class....no excuses though! I felt so much faster and efficient than I have ever felt on this WOD! I'm trying not to be disappointed but I don't understand...but yeah...I'm happy with how efficient I felt

  • Went into this WOD feeling a bit mentally defeated...there were a million reasons (excuses) as to why I didn't want to do this wod (e.g. my neck hurts, my lower back is tired, it's that time of the month, etc.) but I did it anyway, pushed hard and my time was faster than the last time I did it! Still not getting the sub 11 like I want....but improvements were made....the problem here is my endurance...my speed is getting better but I'm not able to hang on to my times. I timed everything this time and things have improved but I have to get better at running...my runs were 1:39/2:16/2:24, which is really good for me...I believe last time my runs were around 2:20-2:45 so I'm getting faster but if I could have held all my runs to 1:45-1:56 I would have been around 10 minutes....inside things were great my splits were 1:45/1:48/1:35 kb swings were unbroken and my pull ups were 9/3, 7/5, 6/3/2/1 I felt like I could barely breathe that last round....so yeah I'm glad that I'm getting faster just gotta hang on to my numbers...gotta work on that endurance...but progress is happening! Trusting the process! Enjoying the journey!

  • PR!!! Still chasing that sub 11 time...just gotta keep getting faster on the runs...this was the first time that pull ups felt easy! I'm really happy with how my pull ups have been coming along...Perry suggested I break up the pull ups...I really appreciate all the strategizing tips because it's always different from what I think in my mind and the tips I'm given workout so wonderfully!!! So I did my pull ups in 4's for the first two rounds and then the goal was to get all 12 in the third round but I lost my rhythm at 8 and dropped and then finished the 4...pull ups felt amazing and so easy! Runs weren't terrible but I just want them to be faster...they felt good though..I was able to come in and get right on the kb...going back out apparently I have a diva walk haha (thanks CJ!)....so I need to work on getting out the door faster...I was trying to take deep breaths as I was walking out so I could push hard on the runs...happy with this though!! My first time actually enjoying Helen!!

  • Boom!!! Take that Helen!!! The goal was sub 12 but never did I imagine I would get so low in the 11's!!! Pushed hard on the runs and went straight to the kettlebell when I came in the door. All kettlebells unbroken and at a steady pace so I could save my arms for the pull ups... Pull ups felt very good! I was able to start off each round with a good set! first round was 7/3/2 then 6/3/3 then 5/3/2/2 I took short breaks and jumped right back on the bar! Very pleased with my energy level on this WOD! Over a 1 minute PR!!!! Getting better!!!
