    I am a little disappointed in this one..I pulled 225 and missed the first one, second one my footwork was garbage, I ended up on both knees and tried to lunge out of it and dropped the weight...after that didn't have it in m to try again. I should have C&J 225, my max is 245...but after a WOD I guess I should be happy with this. All the other times I went heavy on C&J I was fresh always before a wod, or as just a strength workout.

    This was the first WOD of the 2015 Open, it looked easier than it was...but overall not as bad as I thought. I knew the Snatches would slow me down and they did. The T2B went great for 2 rds, then 3 and 4 had to start breaking them up. I think I could have pushed a tad harder to get to my goal of 5 rds....but still happy with this.

    This was an AMRAP with a 10 minute Cap, so you start with 2 PC's then 2 T2B and add two reps to each movement each rd. you complete. I was able to get to the round of 14 and finished the PC's and two T2B. So I was happy I only expected to get to the round of 10.
    "Death By" : 2 reps + 2 reps / 10 secs Power Clean, 135 lbs : 7 rounds + 0 reps Toes-to-bar : 6 rounds + 1 rep

    This was a WOD Tommy made up for Alpha Dog, I was without programming so it looked fun I gave it a try. I started with 135 pound Shoulder to OH, and man this took me seriously 3-3:30 minutes to finish. I was only able to get 2 burpees. Then I figured out the WOD and stopped sucking wind..I was able to get 20 KB swings, and then on the last little AMRAP I did 12 Shoulder-OH @ 135. BTWB doesn't really have a good category for this workout. You have 4 minutes to do the 30 reps of the first movement, then in time remaining you do AMRAP of the second movement. Then you rest 4 minutes and move to the second couplet of movements.
    20 mins: 30 Shoulder-to-Overheads, 135 lbs, 4 mins 30 Burpees, 4 mins 30 Kettlebell Swings, 70 lbs, 4 mins with remaining time AMRAP: 2 Max Rep Burpees Rest 4 mins 20 Max Effort Kettlebell Swings, 70 lbs Rest 4 mins 12 Max Reps Shoulder To Overheads, 135 lbs

    Trying to stay with a strength program...been home for about three days then was in Eagle River for the long weekend. So back to the weights. I am feeling slow on my squats...my strength is down a tad, the biggest change is how slow I am out of the bottom.

    This was my first workout in a week or so, been in Jamaica for last 7 days...so went light and almost reset...moving on to the Collegiate Strength Program...lets see where this goes. Traveling a lot in February.

    We did 12.3 as a Gym, little 2015 Open prep, or maybe call it a throwback. Either way this workout still sucks! I think I could have pushed it a tad harder. Goal was 7 rounds.
